Humidity Transducers Overview

SRH Duct Insertion Humidity and Temperature Transducer

The SRH1 and HMP families of humidity (and optional temperature)  transducers coupled with a Logic Beach data logger implement an ambient condition monitoring system.  The SRH1 family with integral mounting hardware is typically deployed in permanent or long-term monitoring applications.  The HMP cable end transducer is readily deployed for short term test.

Both families offer additional temperature sensing is an option and  feature simple field calibration by replacement of the sensing element.

The SRH1 and HMP signal outputs are fully compatible with Logic Beach data logger analog inputs.  The SRH1 family is offered with voltage or current outputs and the HMP is offered with voltage or Modbus RTU serial interface.  With the Modbus RTU interface, multiple Modbus capable transducers can be daisy-chain wired on a single twisted pair RS-485 network allowing for multiple transducers as well as long distance interconnection without signal degradation.   Learn more about Modbus connection of transducers here.

SRH1 Temperature/Humidity Transducers

The SRH1 family is a low cost and reliable offering of Humidity and Humidity/Temperature transducers. Models are vailable in 3%, 4% and 5% accuracy and in wall mount, duct insertion and outdoor configurations. 4-20mA, 0-5Vdc and 0-10Vdc outputs are all available. Calibration is performed by simple sensing tip replacement in the field.

SRH Duct Insertion Humidity and Temperature Transducer

The SRH low profile wall mount humidity sensor offers both humidity and temperature with multiple options for accuracy, temperature and outputs. It features a removable sensor tip, NIST traceability and a durable capacitive sensor that is capable of a 0 to 99% full scale RH measurement and recovery from 100% saturation. The SRH offers accuracies of 2%, 3% and 5% to meet the most stringent HVAC applications. The SRH can be ordered with either a passive (RTD Thermistor) or Active (Analog) temperature output, enabling 2 measurements from the same device.

SRH Duct Insertion Humidity and Temperature Transducer

SRH duct mount humidity sensor offers optional active temperature with choice of 4 to 20 mA or user-selectable 0 to 5 and 0 to 10 VDC output and passive temperature with choice of thermistor or RTD output. The sensor is housed in a polycarbonate 94 V-0, NEMA 4 enclosure making it suitable for harsh environments. The SRH duct mount sensor gives the user the choice of 2%, 3% or 5% RH accurate to meet the requirements of typical HVAC applications. It features a removable sensor tip, NIST tracability and a durable capacitive sensor capable of a 0 to 99% full scale RH measurement and recovery of 100% saturation.

SRH Outdoor Mount Humidity and Temperature Transducer

Setra’s SRH outdoor humidity sensor offers optional active temperature with choice of 4 to 20 mA or user-selectable 0 to 5 or 0 to 10 VDC output and passive temperature with choice of thermistor or RDT output. The sensor is housed in a polycarbonate 94 V-0, NEMA 4 enclosure making it suitable for harsh environments. The SRH outdoor air sensor gives the user the choice of 2%, 3% or 5% RH accuracy to meet the requirements of typical HVAC applications. It features a removable sensor tip, NIST tracability and a durable capacitive sensor capable of a 0 to 99% full scale RH measurement and recovery from 100% saturation.

HMP Temperature/Humidity Transducers

The HMP family is a low cost and reliable offering of Humidity and Humidity/Temperature transducers in a probe configuration. Outputs are available as voltage or Modbus RTU (RS-485). Calibration is performed by simple sensing tip replacement in the field.

The HMP60 is a simple, durable andcost-effective humidity probe. The HMP60 is designed for extreme conditions. The stainless steel bodyof the HMP60 is classified as IP65. The probe has a sealed structureand the sensor is protected by a membrane filter and a plastic grid,or optionally by a stainless steel filter.
