Description:
Logic Beach
offers a line of thermcouples to meet
many common industrial temperature
data logging applications. Thermocouples
are available in a a variety of wire
gauge and insulation materials.
One common configuration suitable
to many surface and ambient monitoring
applications is the welded bead thermocouple
featuring teflon insulation and a
fused on teflon cap over the junction
(see photos). The teflon provides
a durable protective surface for the
probe.
Probes are assembled from "special
limits" thermocouple wire.

Data
logger Interface:
These
thermocouple probes can be directly
connected to one of the analog / thermocouple
inputs on Logic Beach portable data
logging systems. The ModuLogger "Mini"
analog inputs, the ModuLogger System
Base or MLIM-1 Interface Modules and/or
the HyperLogger™ HLIM-1 Interface
Modules input channels all handle direct
thermocouple input and the associated
cold junction compensation. Temperature
units and any other desired data manipulation
is readily handled in the programming
of the logger using the powerful HyperWare
software.
