RHT-1; Relative Humidity Probe

Description:

The PSI-1 is a low-cost, temperature compensated, signal conditioned pressure transducer that can meet the needs of many industrial pressure data acqusisiton applications. The PSI-1 is offered in eight full scale ranges from 5 psi to 1000 psi. The unit can be provided with a 4 to 20ma process loop output (PSI-1-ma model) or 1 to 6Vdc amplified output (PSI-1-Vdc model).

The PSI-1 is machined from 316 stainless steel and utilizes a rugged and very stable silicon piezoresistive sensing element. All wetted parts are 316L stainless steel providing excellent media compatibility. One end of the sensor is provided with pipe threads with wiring projecting from the other.

See the Data Logger Selection Guide for help with locating the appropriate instrument for your inputs.

Data logger Interface:

PSI-1-mA (4-20mA Output Version)

The PSI-1-mA provides a linear 4 to 20mAdc output corresponding to 0 to 100% of Full Scale of the transducer. This 4-20mA output can be directly connected to any of the Logic Beach data loggers analog inputs configured in current mode. Scaling and offset to PSI units as well as additional data reduction, alarming, conditional logging, etc is readily handled with the powerful HyperWare software utilized in programming of the Logic Beach logger.

PSI-1-Vdc (1 to 6 Vdc Output Version)

The PSI-1-Vdc model provides a linear 1 to 6 Vdc output corresponding to 0 to 100% of Full Scale of the transducer. This Vdc output can be directly connected to any of the Logic Beach data loggers analog inputs configured in a medium range voltage input mode. Scaling and offset to PSI units as well as additional data reduction, alarming, conditional logging, etc is readily handled with the powerful HyperWare software utilized in programming of the Logic Beach logger.

Logger Compatibility:

These sensed signals can be directly connected to the ModuLogger "Mini" analog inputs, the ModuLogger System Base or MLIM-1 Interface Modules and/or the HyperLogger™ HLIM-1 Interface Modules input channels.

Sensor Power / Excitation:

The unit can be powered from a DC source in the range of 10 to 30Vdc and is quick to stabilize after application of power. Due to its quick stabilization after power-up, the unit can be powered on just prior to taking a reading, sampled, then powered off to conserve logger battery energy. The unit can be powered from the ModuLogger, Mini, or HyperLogger™ system batteries stepped up to the 10, 15 or 24 Vdc level by the Logic Beach PSM-2 Power Supply Module. The PSM-2 can be controlled from the logger to perform the above mentioned battery conserving cycled power strategy.
