RHT-1A rH + Temperature Sensor

Description: The RHT-1A Relative Humidity probe is an inexpensive, wide input range, low-power humidity and temperature sensor. The RHT-1A contains a rugged capacitive humidity sensing element and a precision RTD for temperature sensing. The unit can measure RH from 0 to 98% and temperature from -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F). The RHT-1A is of cylindrical shape with an M8 quick connector and 1' cable. The sensing element is field replaceable and is protected from dirt and grit by an integral membrane filter. The probe can withstand direct immersion and will recover to factory specifications after drying. Data logger Interface:

The RHT-1A provides a linear 0 to 5Vdc output corresponding to 0 to 100% relative humidity. For temperature sensing a second output is provided which has a linear 0 to 5Vdc output corresponding to -40° to 60°C. These sensed signals can be directly connected to the ModuLogger "Mini" analog inputs, the ModuLogger System Base or MLIM-1 Interface Modules and/or the HyperLogger™ HLIM-1 Interface Modules input channels. Scaling and other desired data manipulation is readily handled in the programming of the logger using the powerful HyperWare software.

The unit can be powered from a DC source in the range of 7 to 28Vdc and stabilizes in 150 mS. Due to its quick stabilization after power-up, the unit can be powered on just prior to taking a reading, sampled, then powered off to conserve logger battery energy. The unit can be powered directly by the ModuLogger, Mini, or HyperLogger™ system batteries (optionally switched through a logger output relay) or from a PSM-2 Power Supply Module in conjunction with any of the Logic Beach data logging systems.
