VIEW LIVE INTELLILOGGER DATA AND SYSTEM INFORMATION NOW

Logic Beach has an IntelliLogger model IL-80 online and it can be accessed remotely over the Internet. The configuration of the IntelliLogger program and connected sensors changes periodically but typically there are at least a couple of temperatures being measured, logged and displayed via Web pages.

The online IL-80 can be accessed via a number of different methods as follows:

METHOD 1…VIA A GENERIC BROWSER (FIREFOX, INTERNET EXPLORER, ETC)*

Via a browser, a user with permission rights can access the standard Web pages served by the IntelliLogger. These ‘standard’ Web pages allow access for:

• IntelliLogger Operational Status Review
• Current Readings of Inputs, Calculated Values, Alarm States, etc
• Changing states of Remote Switches or Thresholds
• Logged Data Download

To access with a generic browser, use the following connection settings and view the different Tabs served by the IntelliLogger :

METHOD 2 …VIA GREENWATER LOGIC BEACH'S BROWSER FOR CUSTOM WEB PAGES *

For optimized viewing and security, Logic Beach provides the GreenWater ™ browser for viewing of the Standard Web pages mentioned above as well as Custom Web pages that can be developed from within HyperWare-II and uploaded into the IntelliLogger for serving at a later time. These custom Web pages can include equipment photos, plant or process drawings, overlay objects including thermometers, gauges, pumps, lights, and much more. The end result is an HMI view of your remote generator, process line, extrusion press, compressor, or other remote assets or process information.

To view real-time IntelliLogger served Custom Web pages, download and install the free GreenWater browser, connect to the online IntelliLogger and choose one of the Custom Web Pages offered on the Custom Web Page tab. Download Greenwater Here

Then, use the following connection and settings to access the online IntelliLogger:

METHOD 3… VIA HYPERWARE-II

HyperWare-II is provided with the IntelliLogger and is used for communication, programming (via drag and drop icon based programming), data download, plotting and real-time trending and display of data. Via HyperWare-II, an Internet connection can be established and the unit can be fully configured and interrogated as if it were sitting on your desk (with the exception of physical connection of sensors!)

* Notes Relative to Connecting to the online IntelliLogger : the connection to the data logger may be blocked by a firewall on your PC or a company wide firewall in which case you will get a time out message. It will be necessary to change the firewall such that it allows outside traffic in. Always check with your IT department before making any changes to your firewall and always revert to the original more secure settings when finished viewing.
