In the use of HAP, each field located data logging system is considered a "site". The automated actions for HAP to take periodically for each Site can be individually defined during the setup of the HAP program. Actions that can be automatically performed on a Site by HAP include:

• Downloading of logger memory
• Clearing of logger memory
• File conversion of downloaded data to Excel or text format
• Posting of the data to the World-Wide Web
• Customized report generation

Additionally, in the setup of a Site, the absolute time to initiate a call to the Site as well as the number of times to repeat the call are defined (on the "Time Interval" tab). In the example setup below, the Site will be interrogated and the data downloaded, then cleared. Then a file conversion to *.hld (Logic Beach proprietary download file format) as well as *.xls (Excel) will be performed. Additionally, a report will be generated and saved using a User- customized "template" called W1.xls.
